In addition to the 4 exceptional simuls, this 17th edition of our international open – necessarily special as it is played entirely on the Internet – offers you the 2 swiss tournaments as well. Here are the details:
Saturday, December 19th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m .: Tournament of 9 rapid games, time control is 10min+3sec/move
Sunday, December 20th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m .: Tournament of 13 blitz games, time control is 3min+2sec/move
These 2 tournaments are open to all players, of every club (or without club) and level of play.
Registration is completely free, we will only ask for your FIDE ID or a license of the French chess federation.
To make the tournament interesting many grandmasters are invited to participate : KAMSKY, BAUER, DONCHENKO, SOLODOVNICHENKO, FLOM, DOURERASSOU, IKONNIKOV, RIFF, VELTEN…
No money prizes, but in each tournament 10 entry fees for our next international open (its “face-to-face” version scheduled for the December 2021) are to win by the first 10 non-IM/GM players.
